Murmurings to self: All working ok, so the trackback module has been integrated into the publishing CMS. One issue I have is with the length of the Trackback URI making it ugly to display anywhere on a post's page :( Perhaps need to cut down these URI paths. Couple of the directories are redundant (archives and day)….
